I have downloaded all the tracks you listed on your EPK. I sure would love to get a CD of this project. I love a good sax supported track. I play a young kid named Chris Godber. He is only in his 20's. But is he ever good.
I was a police officer many years ago. It was a short stint (for about three years). I realized real fast that I did not handle "stupid" real well. Hello, that is generally what a cop deals with. I quit before I ended up in an IA investigation for shooting someone that beat up his wife or child.
Anyway, great work. I look forward to hearing more of your work.

I came across your website today and was glad to see and hear you doing
so well. I met you in the late 70's at Martin Luther King High
School. I went to school with your brother, Martin as well at Miller Middle
School. My name is Albert Williams, Jr (Poncho Williams, Saxist). I
graduated in '81. I was in the band with you when Herbie Williams was
teaching the jazz program at King.
I am still performing also. My first CD is due to be released in
March/April time frame. My Band, Bonnie's Pearl featuring Poncho Williams,
was featured this past summer at the Long Beach Jazz Festival in Long
Beach California (my first really big gig). I live in Los Angeles. I
am the band director at Community Harvest Charter School. I performed
in Detroit 2 years ago a Floods and some other jazz spot there. I
supposed to be performing there more this year. I would like to hook up
with you when I am in town and discuss the possibility of y collabrating
with you on a future project...

My name is George Brown. I'm a retired / disabled police sergeant from PD Plainville MA. A couple of years ago. I started American Police Veterans, www.policevets.org, I'd like to invite you to join us as we try to make a difference in the lives of retired and disabled law enforcement officers.
I've never encountered a musician or music that matches my vision of American Police Veterans, until I had the pleasure of finding you website. For the last two and a half years we have never charged dues and we have just started to formalize the group, but it has had many successes. We have saved the lives of many disabled cops at the brink of pain and isolation.
Your music touched my soul, especially "Never Alone." as the policevet's motto is "Never Alone - Together as One." It was a very significant choice as it was a tag line used by a policevet, pulled from the edge and alive and still with us two years later.
It is the mission of the American Police Veterans to create a community that supports retired and disabled law enforcement officers through peer support, advocacy and fellowship. Policevets working with the community to build social, economic and health support systems for America's aging, infirm and disabled law enforcement officers. What's up Darron?
This is your #1 fan/former colleague here at Juvenile Court-Clinic For Child Study-Registration Intake Unit. I had been running around trying to catch you perform at the Rhino, but for some reason I had been misinformed of the days you perform (Mike-from snack shop had an old flyer). However, your sister, Takana had given me your website so that I can keep up with your schedule, as well as inviting me to Carl's last Friday but I wasn't able to attend that seesion. But now that I know your contacts, you can be sure I'll come along with a posse to check you out. I had your CD since 04 and I love it. I have it in my truck and play it all the time. My favorite is #2-Shift Change. I think I play that at least 10 times a day, avidly. They play "Inner Prizm" at different caberets that I frequently attend and we ballroom off of that. "Soft Spoken" was a wonderful project that you guys put together and I wish you the best of luck in your future endeavors. PLEASE!!! I am awaiting a new album....so hurry and produce, but in the meantime I will continue to play, share and advocate "Soft Spoken" because it is the bomb.

that has so many things together - you've got a lot of bases covered

I LOVE your CD. You are very talented. I am very proud to say that I know you. Please remember to place in your envelop extra business cards or flyers.
